Elsabe Catharina Cuhr was born in 1810, in Drelsdorf, Husum, Schleswig-Holstein, Prussia, Germany as the daughter of Johan C. Carstenstochter and Dorothea Carstenstochter. She married Sonka Peter Jens on 1 August 1845. They were the parents of at least 1 son. She died on 8 September 1848, in Garding, Eiderstedt, Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, at the age of 38.
