When Augustin Rüb was born on 25 January 1788, in Stetten am Heuchelberg, Brackenheim, Württemberg, Germany, his father, Augustin Rüb, was 43 and his mother, Christina Krieg, was 38. He married Catharina Reussner on 16 May 1813, in Gemmingen, Bezirksamt Eppingen, Baden, Germany. They were the parents of at least 1 son and 1 daughter. He died on 22 December 1852, in Russia, at the age of 64.
