When William Heath was born on 22 July 1806, in Bradford, Orange, Vermont, United States, his father, John Hall Heath, was 29 and his mother, Abigail Snow, was 25. He married Sophia Prescott on 26 September 1828, in Newbury, Orange, Vermont, United States. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 3 daughters. He lived in Nashua, Hillsborough, New Hampshire, United States for about 10 years. He died on 14 December 1889, in Lowell, Middlesex, Massachusetts, United States, at the age of 83, and was buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Nashua, Hillsborough, New Hampshire, United States.

1808 · Concord Becomes the Capital

In 1808, Concord became the capital of New Hampshire. It was originally the Penacook Plantation given to the state by the Massachusetts Bay Colony. 

1830 · The Second Great Awakening

Being a second spiritual and religious awakening, like the First Great Awakening, many Churches began to spring up from other denominations. Many people began to rapidly join the Baptist and Methodist congregations. Many converts to these religions believed that the Awakening was the precursor of a new millennial age.
