He lived in Richmond Election Precinct, Furnas, Nebraska, United States for about 5 years and Center Township, Norton, Kansas, United States in 1900. He registered for military service in 1862. He died on 12 September 1909, in Norton, Norton, Kansas, United States, at the age of 80, and was buried in Mount Hope Cemetery, Beaver City, Furnas, Nebraska, United States.
