When Tören Åkesdotter was born on 5 November 1780, in Satserup, Östra Espinge, Malmöhus, Sweden, her father, Ake Ohlsson, was 38 and her mother, Boel Akesson, was 21. She married Ola Nilsson on 7 May 1807. They were the parents of at least 1 son and 4 daughters. She died on 19 June 1845, in Äspinge, Frosta härad, Malmöhus, Sweden, at the age of 64.
