When Nils Englesson was born on 17 October 1739, in Östra Espinge, Malmöhus, Sweden, his father, Engle Persson, was 23 and his mother, Kirstina Nilsdotter, was 26. He married Stina Tykesson on 18 November 1770. They were the parents of at least 1 daughter. He died on 22 December 1819, in Äspinge, Frosta, Malmöhus, Sweden, at the age of 80.
