When Trijntje Romijn was born on 27 January 1811, her father, Leendert Romijn, was 44 and her mother, Jacomijntje Van Drunen, was 37. She married Arie Tamerus on 24 June 1837, in Noord, Sint Anthonis, North Brabant, Netherlands. They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 1 daughter. She died on 1 November 1884, in Almkerk, Brabant, Netherlands, at the age of 73.
