Brief Life History of Mathieu
When Mathieu Le Rossignol was born about 1630, in St Ouen, Jersey, his father, Jean Le Rossignol, was 49 and his mother, Rachel Le Gresley, was 43. He married Elizabeth Jean in 1653, in Jersey. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 3 daughters. He died about January 1706, in his hometown, at the age of 77, and was buried in St Ouen, Jersey.
