When Frances Ogilve was born on 29 July 1797, in Hawkins, Tennessee, United States, her father, John Harris Ogilvie, was 30 and her mother, Hannah Amis, was 22. She married John Cooper Wilson on 29 August 1816, in Knox, Kentucky, United States. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 5 daughters. She lived in Floyd Township, Putnam, Indiana, United States for about 20 years. She died on 15 March 1873, in Putnam, Indiana, United States, at the age of 75, and was buried in Bainbridge, Monroe Township, Putnam, Indiana, United States.

The First capital was temporary in New York City but by the second term of George Washington the Capital moved to Philadelphia for the following 10 years.
