When Andrew Lord was born on 9 May 1697, in Saybrook Colony, British Colonial America, his father, Benjamin Lord Sr., was 31 and his mother, Elizabeth Pratt, was 24. He married Hester Buckingham on 13 December 1721, in Old Saybrook, Middlesex, Connecticut, United States. They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 4 daughters. He died in December 1759, in his hometown, at the age of 62, and was buried in Old Saybrook, Middlesex, Connecticut, United States.
