He married Hulda Cook on 23 March 1790, in Winchester, Cheshire, New Hampshire, United States. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 8 daughters. He died on 21 April 1837, in Franklin, Delaware, New York, United States, at the age of 75, and was buried in Congregational Church Cemetery, Franklin, Delaware, New York, United States.
