He lived in Pilger Election Precinct, Stanton, Nebraska, United States in 1900 and Pilger, Stanton, Nebraska, United States in 1910. He registered for military service in 1861. He died on 8 June 1924, in Linn Township, Marshall, Iowa, United States, at the age of 82, and was buried in Pilger Cemetery, Pilger, Stanton, Nebraska, United States.
