He married 'Ana Mohulamu Tuitaunga in 1919, in Nuku'alofa, Tongatapu, Tonga. They were the parents of at least 1 daughter. He died in 1953, in his hometown, at the age of 63, and was buried in `Ahau, Tongatapu, Tonga.
