When Prudence Cheney was born on 7 September 1672, in Medfield, Suffolk, Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America, her father, Joseph Cheney, was 25 and her mother, Hannah Thurston, was 22. She died on 17 January 1685, in her hometown, at the age of 12.
