When Andreas Müller was born on 23 October 1820, in Auswil, Bern, Switzerland, his father, Andreas Müller, was 40 and his mother, Verena Meyer, was 30. He married Anna Maria Flückiger on 28 June 1844, in Rohrbach bei Huttwil, Rohrbach, Bern, Switzerland. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 2 daughters. He died on 29 January 1870, in Rohrbach, Bern, Switzerland, at the age of 49.
