He lived in Owen Township, Winnebago, Illinois, United States in 1880 and United States in 1898. He died on 2 January 1898, in Rockton, Winnebago, Illinois, United States, at the age of 92, and was buried in Rockton, Winnebago, Illinois, United States.

Atlantic slave trade abolished.

1808 · Concord Becomes the Capital

In 1808, Concord became the capital of New Hampshire. It was originally the Penacook Plantation given to the state by the Massachusetts Bay Colony. 

1830 · The Second Great Awakening

Being a second spiritual and religious awakening, like the First Great Awakening, many Churches began to spring up from other denominations. Many people began to rapidly join the Baptist and Methodist congregations. Many converts to these religions believed that the Awakening was the precursor of a new millennial age.
