He lived in Claiborne, Louisiana, United States in 1830. He registered for military service in 1812. He died on 20 November 1845, in Bienville, Louisiana, United States, at the age of 67, and was buried in Old Saline Baptist Church Cemetery, Saline, Bienville, Louisiana, United States.

1779

The county was formed in 1779 from the southwestern part of Craven County. It was named for Willie Jones,[3] a planter, slaveholder, Revolutionary leader and president of the North Carolina Committee of Safety during the war. He opposed state ratification of the United States Constitution. The rural Low Country county was originally developed for plantations, which were dependent on the labor of enslaved African Americans.

1781 · The First Constitution

Serving the newly created United States of America as the first constitution, the Articles of Confederation were an agreement among the 13 original states preserving the independence and sovereignty of the states. But with a limited central government, the Constitutional Convention came together to replace the Articles of Confederation with a more established Constitution and central government on where the states can be represented and voice their concerns and comments to build up the nation.

On June 1, 1796, Tennessee became the 16th state.
