When Jacob Dwinel Sr was born on 18 July 1747, in Sutton, Worcester, Massachusetts, United States, his father, Jonathan Dwinel, was 45 and his mother, Mehitable Kenny, was 41. He married Elizabeth Brooks in 1770. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 4 daughters. He registered for military service in 1775. He died in 1831, at the age of 84, and was buried in Maine, United States.
