When Mary Corlett was born on 5 January 1745, in Douglas, Isle of Man, her father, William Corlett, was 26 and her mother, Elizabeth Stanley, was 21. She married Robert Baird on 20 December 1766, in Braddan, Isle of Man. They were the parents of at least 1 son and 2 daughters. She died on 19 November 1769, in her hometown, at the age of 24, and was buried in Onchan, Isle of Man.
