When Daniel Killey was born on 3 February 1658, in German, Isle of Man, his father, William Killey, was 38 and his mother, Mrs William Killey, was 31. He married Mary Looney on 23 November 1679, in German, Isle of Man. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 2 daughters. He died on 21 May 1716, in his hometown, at the age of 58, and was buried in German, Isle of Man.
