He lived in Assiniboia, Lake of the Rivers No. 72, Saskatchewan, Canada in 1906 and Moose Jaw, Moose Jaw No. 161, Saskatchewan, Canada in 1911. He died on 13 June 1917, in Saskatchewan, Canada, at the age of 66, and was buried in Blue Hill Cemetery, Briercrest, Redburn No. 130, Saskatchewan, Canada.
