When Philippe Journeaux Jr was born about December 1810, in Saint Saviour, Jersey, his father, Philippe Journeaux Sr, was 31 and his mother, Elizabeth Philippe, was 37. He married Mary Ann Simon on 6 June 1835, in Saint Saviour, Jersey. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 5 daughters. He lived in Saint Helier, Jersey for about 10 years. He died on 8 November 1880, in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, at the age of 70.
