Yates on 4 September 1828, in Deer Creek Township, Pickaway, Ohio, United States. They were the parents of at least 9 sons and 2 daughters. She died on 17 November 1884, in Deer Creek Township, Pickaway, Ohio, United States, at the age of 76, and was buried in Springlawn Cemetery, Williamsport, Pickaway, Ohio, United States.
