When Jens Hansen was born on 18 September 1817, in Horsens, Kær, Ålborg, Denmark, his father, Hans Christian Jensen, was 30 and his mother, Inger Marie Jensdatter, was 23. He married Malene Cathrine Jespersdatter on 13 November 1844, in Dronninglund, Hjørring, Denmark. They were the parents of at least 1 son and 2 daughters. He lived in Dronninglund, Dronninglund, Hjørring, Denmark in 1845. He died about 1890, at the age of 74.

1818 · Danmarks Nationalbank
