He lived in South Carolina, United States in 1870 and Township 8, Fairfield, South Carolina, United States in 1880. He died on 23 February 1902, in Richland, South Carolina, United States, at the age of 83, and was buried in Brown's Chapel Cemetery, Columbia, Richland, South Carolina, United States.
