When Isaac Holloway was born on 19 May 1792, in Campbell, Virginia, United States, his father, William Haines Holloway, was 30 and his mother, Sarah Stanley, was 19. He married Nancy Agnes Cherry on 14 February 1819, in Highland, Ohio, United States. They were the parents of at least 7 sons and 5 daughters. He lived in Perry Township, Delaware, Indiana, United States in 1860 and Monroe Township, Randolph, Indiana, United States in 1870. He died on 23 February 1877, in Randolph, Indiana, United States, at the age of 84, and was buried in Hopewell Cemetery, Farmland, Monroe Township, Randolph, Indiana, United States.

1794 · Creating the Eleventh Amendment

The Eleventh Amendment restricts the ability of any people to start a lawsuit against the states in federal court.

1812 · Monumental Church Built

The Monumental Church was built between 1812-1814 on the sight where the Richmond Theatre fire had taken place. It is a monument to those that died in the fire.

English: topographic name for someone who lived ‘(by the) sunken road’, from Middle English hol(g)h ‘hollow’ + weie ‘way, road’ (Old English holh + weg), or else a habitational name from any of numerous places so named, such as Holloway (Middlesex) or Holway (Somerset). In Ireland (Leinster), the name has sometimes been Gaelicized as Ó hAilmhic (see Hulvey ).
