She married John Legan on 10 August 1810, in Henry, Kentucky, United States. They were the parents of at least 7 sons and 5 daughters. She died in July 1830, in Johnson, Indiana, United States, at the age of 40.

The Cane Ridge Revival took place for six days in Cane Ridge, Kentucky. From August 6, 1801- August 12 or 13, 1801, around 20 thousand people gathered together for what was called the Second Great Awakening.
