Brief Life History of Abraham C.

When Abraham C. Van Alstine was born on 29 June 1804, in New Johnstown, Stormont, Upper Canada, British North America, his father, James Van Alstyne, was 27 and his mother, Rebecca Forshee, was 24. He married Mary Isabella Sarah Dunlop in 1828, in Ontario, Canada. They were the parents of at least 7 sons and 4 daughters. He lived in Cornwall, Stormont Dundas and Glengarry, Canada West, British North America in 1861 and Wisconsin, United States in 1870. He died on 11 January 1881, in Black Brook, Polk, Wisconsin, United States, at the age of 76, and was buried in Clear Lake, Polk, Wisconsin, United States.
