When Egbert Lippes was christened on 8 December 1742, in Aduard, Groningen, Netherlands, his father, Lippe Egberts, was 46 and his mother, Etjen Gieuwes, was 33. He married Klaaske Leenderts on 30 November 1788, in Aduard, Groningen, Netherlands. He died on 23 July 1814, in his hometown, at the age of 71.
