When Elisabeth Knecht was christened on 12 February 1749, in Rietheim, Aargau, Switzerland, her father, Samuel Knecht, was 31 and her mother, Barbara Knecht, was 29. She married Christian Rudolf on 10 October 1772. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 4 daughters. She died on 13 September 1808, at the age of 59.
