When Nathaniel Sackett was born in 1775, in Massachusetts Bay Colony, British Colonial America, his father, Samuel Sackett, was 28 and his mother, Thankful Wood, was 28. He married Polly Odell on 8 October 1799. They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 3 daughters. He died on 2 January 1839, in Westfield, Hampden, Massachusetts, United States, at the age of 64.
