When Anders Persson was born on 28 August 1701, in Södra Åsum, Färs, Malmöhus, Sweden, his father, Pehr Nilsson, was 45 and his mother, Bengta Kedjersson, was 40. He married Anna Martensson on 25 February 1724, in Södra Åsum, Färs, Malmöhus, Sweden. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 10 daughters. He died on 16 August 1772, in his hometown, at the age of 70.
