When Susannah Libby was born on 16 November 1784, in Cape Elizabeth, Cumberland, Maine, United States, her father, Seth Libby, was 29 and her mother, Lydia Jordan, was 22. She married Benjamin Larrabee Jr. on 11 October 1804, in Scarborough, Cumberland, Maine, United States. They were the parents of at least 5 sons and 2 daughters. She died on 17 May 1846, at the age of 61, and was buried in Black Point Cemetery, Scarborough, Cumberland, Maine, United States.

1786 · Shays' Rebellion

Caused by war veteran Daniel Shays, Shays' Rebellion was to protest economic and civil rights injustices that he and other farmers were seeing after the Revolutionary War. Because of the Rebellion it opened the eyes of the governing officials that the Articles of Confederation needed a reform. The Rebellion served as a guardrail when helping reform the United States Constitution.
