When Suzanna Tiersen was born on 10 October 1795, in Zuidzande, Zeeland, Netherlands, her father, Adriaan Tierson, was 21 and her mother, Dina Dierings, was 33. She married Pieter Johannes Bodderij on 17 July 1822, in Zuidzande, Zeeland, Netherlands. They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 1 daughter. She died on 7 February 1866, in her hometown, at the age of 70.
