He lived in Bellevue, Sarpy, Nebraska, United States in 1860 and California, United States in 1870. He died on 2 April 1909, in Mount Vernon, Skagit, Washington, United States, at the age of 62, and was buried in Tacoma Cemetery, Tacoma, Pierce, Washington, United States.
