When Roxanne Hart was born on 21 June 1780, in New Britain, Hartford, Connecticut, United States, her father, Benjamin Hart, was 32 and her mother, Mary Fuller, was 23. She married Leonard Belden Jr. on 9 November 1797. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 3 daughters. She died on 12 February 1864, in Maplecrest, Windham, Greene, New York, United States, at the age of 83.

1781 · The First Constitution

"In 1802, brass was identified in Waterbury, Connecticut. This gave the city the nickname ""The Brass City."" Brass dominated the city and helped to create the city. The motto of the city is Quid Aere Perennius, which means What is more lasting than brass? in Latin."
