They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 1 daughter. He immigrated to United States in 1849 and lived in Ringgold Township, Jefferson, Pennsylvania, United States in 1900 and Gaskill Township, Jefferson, Pennsylvania, United States in 1910. He died on 7 October 1939, in Grand Rapids, Kent, Michigan, United States, at the age of 89, and was buried in United States.
