When Frances Elizabeth Wyche Drewry was born on 11 March 1825, in Rutherford, Tennessee, United States, her father, Richardson Clark Drewry, was 32 and her mother, Martha Lackey Mc Bride, was 26. She married James Monroe Galey on 10 July 1839. They were the parents of at least 7 sons and 2 daughters. She lived in Weakley, Tennessee, United States in 1850. She died on 4 February 1876, at the age of 50.

Being a second spiritual and religious awakening, like the First Great Awakening, many Churches began to spring up from other denominations.
