Eliza Foulk was born on 20 December 1810, in Virginia, United States as the daughter of Jacob Foulk Jr and Elizabeth. She married Isaac Jones on 15 March 1829, in Brooke, West Virginia, United States. They were the parents of at least 3 sons and 5 daughters. She lived in Wells Township, Jefferson, Ohio, United States in 1850. She died on 23 March 1880, in Wheeling, Ohio, West Virginia, United States, at the age of 69, and was buried in Peninsula Cemetery, Wheeling, Ohio, West Virginia, United States.

War of 1812. U.S. declares war on Britain over British interference with American maritime shipping and westward expansion.

1812 · Monumental Church Built

The Monumental Church was built between 1812-1814 on the sight where the Richmond Theatre fire had taken place. It is a monument to those that died in the fire.

1830 · The Second Great Awakening

Being a second spiritual and religious awakening, like the First Great Awakening, many Churches began to spring up from other denominations. Many people began to rapidly join the Baptist and Methodist congregations. Many converts to these religions believed that the Awakening was the precursor of a new millennial age.
