He lived in Sparta Township, Dearborn, Indiana, United States in 1860 and Clay Township, Owen, Indiana, United States in 1870. He died on 7 August 1872, in Richland Township, Monroe, Indiana, United States, at the age of 82, and was buried in Heddings Road Chapel Cemetery, Spencer, Washington Township, Owen, Indiana, United States.
