When Nils Pehrsson was born on 6 September 1741, in Bonderup, Torna, Malmöhus, Sweden, his father, Par Nilsson, was 36 and his mother, Kjerstin Haraldsdotter, was 32. He married Hanna Larsdotter on 24 November 1770. They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 6 daughters. He died on 10 April 1813, in his hometown, at the age of 71.
