Hannah MacManus was born on 18 August 1727, in Pomfret, Windham, Connecticut, United States as the daughter of Thomas Mackmaners and Hannah Childe. She married William Stone on 17 March 1746, in Pomfret, Windham, Connecticut, United States. They were the parents of at least 9 sons and 10 daughters. She died on 17 October 1788, in her hometown, at the age of 61, and was buried in Abington, Pomfret, Windham, Connecticut, United States.

1781 · British Forces Capture Fort Griswold

The capture of Fort Griswold was the final act of treason that Benedict Arnold committed. This would be a British victory. On the American side 85 were killed, 35 wounded and paroled, 28 taken prisoner, 13 escaped, and 1 twelve year old was captured and released.
