When David Stevens was born on 24 November 1763, in Plainfield, Windham, Connecticut, United States, his father, David Steevens, was 32 and his mother, Sarah Spaulding, was 29. He married Mary Westgate on 2 March 1797. He died about 1772, in Andover, Essex, Massachusetts, United States, at the age of 10.
