When Per Turesson was born on 24 September 1743, in Malmöhus, Sweden, his father, Ture Parsson, was 42 and his mother, Kerstin Mårtensdotter, was 31. He married Boel Bengtsdotter on 3 June 1765, in Villie, Lilla Slågarp, Malmöhus, Sweden. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 5 daughters. He died on 1 May 1813, in Villie, Ljunit, Malmöhus, Sweden, at the age of 69.
