They were the parents of at least 2 daughters. She lived in Civil District 5, Claiborne, Tennessee, United States in 1880 and Civil District 1, Overton, Tennessee, United States for about 10 years. She died on 31 December 1935, in Overton, Tennessee, United States, at the age of 85, and was buried in Center Bowman Cemetery, Rickman, Overton, Tennessee, United States.

1862 · Battle of Shiloh

The battle of Shiloh took place on April 6, 1862 and April 7, 1862. Confederate soldiers camp through the woods next to where the Union soldiers were camped at Pittsburg Landing on the Tennessee River. With 23,000 casualties this was the bloodiest battle of the Civil War up to this point.

Abraham Lincoln issues Emancipation Proclamation, declaring slaves in Confederate states to be free.

1875 · A Treaty with Hawaii

In the Mid 1870s, The United States sought out the Kingdom of Hawaii to make a free trade agreement. The Treaty gave the Hawaiians access to the United States agricultural markets and it gave the United States a part of land which later became Pearl Harbor.
