When Svend Lauridsen was born in 1624, in Keldby, Mønbo, Præstø, Denmark, his father, Laurids Olufsen Stub, was 26 and his mother, Anne Lauridsdatter, was 26. He married Margrethe Jensdatter on 4 March 1655, in Magleby, Mønbo, Præstø, Denmark. They were the parents of at least 2 sons and 8 daughters. He died in July 1702, in his hometown, at the age of 78, and was buried in Keldby, Mønbo, Præstø, Denmark.
