Juanes Ezcutari Ygoa was christened on 22 October 1739, in Etxarri Aranatz, Nafarroa, Spain as the son of Juan Ezcutari Lacunza and Catalina Igoa Echarri. He married Maria Catalina Yriarte Beidacar on 10 June 1782, in Santa María, Etxarri Aranatz, Nafarroa, Spain. They were the parents of at least 3 sons. He died on 8 June 1792, in his hometown, at the age of 52.
