He lived in Allegheny City, Pittsburgh, Allegheny, Pennsylvania, United States in 1880 and Blue Township, Jackson, Missouri, United States in 1900. He died on 14 January 1906, at the age of 54, and was buried in Mound Grove Cemetery, Independence, Jackson, Missouri, United States.
