She married Warren O'Day on 22 February 1900. She lived in Dresden, Chickasaw, Iowa, United States for about 10 years and Fredericksburg Township, Chickasaw, Iowa, United States in 1940. She died on 16 November 1951, in Nashua, Chickasaw, Iowa, United States, at the age of 85, and was buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Fredericksburg Township, Chickasaw, Iowa, United States.

1867 · Sorry Mr. President, You can't do that.
This Act was to restrict the power of the President removing certain office holders without approval of the Senate. It denies the President the power to remove any executive officer who had been appointed by the president with the advice and consent of the Senate, unless the Senate approved the removal during the next full session of Congress. The Amendment was later repealed.
1867 · The Burtis Opera House
The Burtis Opera House opened in Davenport and could easily hold an audience of 1,600. It was a widely used facility and Mark Twain filled the house when he spoke on tour in 1869. It was also used to house Susan B. Anthony when she lectured on the woman's right to vote. The Quad City Symphony Orchestra played its first concert as the new Tri-City Symphony in the Opera House. An arsonist set fire to the building on the evening of April 26, 1921, and the building was severely destroyed. The building was rebuilt but was no longer used as an opera house.
1890 · The Sherman Antitrust Act
This Act tried to prevent the raising of prices by restricting trade. The purpose of the Act was to preserve a competitive marketplace to protect consumers from abuse.
Name Meaning
Manx: shortened form of Gaelic Mac (Giolla) Ciaráin ‘son of (the devotee of) Ciarán’, a personal name based on a diminutive of Gaelic ciar, Manx keeir ‘black’. The place Ballacraine on the Isle of Man means ‘Craine's farm’.
