When Daniel Tomlinson was born on 4 June 1785, in Derby, New Haven, Connecticut, United States, his father, Daniel Tomlinson, was 35 and his mother, Susannah Hotchkiss, was 32. He married Lydia Judd on 5 January 1818. They were the parents of at least 4 daughters. He lived in Paugasset, New Haven, Connecticut Colony, British Colonial America in 1820. He died on 10 January 1850, in East Bloomfield, Ontario, New York, United States, at the age of 64, and was buried in Green Mount Cemetery, Dansville, North Dansville, Livingston, New York, United States.

1786 · Shays' Rebellion

Caused by war veteran Daniel Shays, Shays' Rebellion was to protest economic and civil rights injustices that he and other farmers were seeing after the Revolutionary War. Because of the Rebellion it opened the eyes of the governing officials that the Articles of Confederation needed a reform. The Rebellion served as a guardrail when helping reform the United States Constitution.
